Nicholas Rivera

Under the mentorship of Michael “Taco” Cardona at Own Identity in Youngstown, Ohio, Nick finished his apprenticeship in May of 2009. In October of 2009, he relocated to Portage, MI and worked at Old Anchor Tattoo for the next 6 years.

In March of 2016, Nick opened Daybreak Tattoo. His goal from the beginning was to create a shop that focused on doing quality work in a positive environment for both the artists and clients.

Daybreak is just at the beginning of its story, but there are exciting things on the horizon!

What kind of work does Nicholas like to do?

Nick is best known for doing color illustrative work but he loves doing a whole bunch of stuff! At the top of that list is biomechanical / organica, new school, anything involving a skull, weird stuff, ornamental work, and black & grey realism (no portraits though).

How do I get a rad tattoo from Nicholas?

We promise that Nick wants to do a rad tattoo on you! Right now, he is booking around 2 months out with occasional openings. Large projects may book out further.

Please note that he has a one hour minimum and is focusing on work within his wheelhouse. A good first step would be to go to our contact page, fill out the form and send it on its way!
